Based on many years of experience. We can provide support for any of the options you decide for school holidays and exeat weekends. What are these?
Host Family
The best way to experience the British Culture and make friends for life. Our host family option is very popular, and gets booked up many months in advance for both exeat weekends and school holidays. With our host families, our directors hand pick those who we think will enrich the lives of our students. Matching based on personality and living requests. All are safeguarding aware, and generally in roles that involve an element of safeguarding in their day jobs. All are security checked (DBS checked). We encourage the students to relax, and both the host family and student to communicate and get to know each other.
Our students normally request to go back to the same host family over and over again.
This home stay option is available throughout the entirety of the UK.
Host Family with activities
In addition to the above, YES Guardians can arrange activities, either trips locally with the host family, or fun activities in the local area. You can see these in the pictures! But examples of activities our students have taken part in include.

Activity Camp
For the longer holidays, we can arrange for a group of students to attend an activity camp, generally with their friends, and also with new friends to be made. These offer on site accommodation, and a range of activities arranged by approved study camp leaders. These generally happen in Gloucestershire, where we can arrange for transportation to get our students to experience this wonderful part of the UK.
Visiting friends and Family
Of course, our students may have friends and family in the UK who they may wish to visit, or even stay with during these holidays. YES Guardians can arrange transportation to and from the school via our security cleared drivers.
Returning Home
With COVID rules now allowing better freedom of travel. We are pleased that our students can go home and visit family in the holidays easier. YES Guardians can arrange transportation to and from the airport, and also help arrange an unaccompanied minor service depending on age. We have a partnership with an airport chaperone service who we trust to meet our students at the airport, and either help them check in and take them through security. Or even take them to the gate to ensure their safe embarkment on the plane. This service can also be available on arrival in the UK, meeting them at the gate and getting them safely in their transport back to school.
Staying in School
Of course, the decision may be made, where possible for the student to stay in school. Especially if they want to spend some time with their friends in a more relaxed, but familiar environment. YES Guardians will speak with the school and make sure this is all arranged – along with any communication regarding any sports or activities that are happening, or extra tuition.
